Phikyin + Sherman : wedding

Phikyin + Sherman are truly some of the sweetest people we know, and we had the honor of traveling to Vancouver, BC to document their wedding day. These two have an incredible story of a long distance romance and of love and friendship, and you can read all about it in their interview for WedLuxe magazine! They were married at Vandusen Botanical Gardens, one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen! The day started out rainy and wet, but as luck would have it, the clouds parted just in time for their first look and outdoor ceremony in the gardens. Phikyin + Sherman had their first look in and amazing Elizabethan hedge maze, which made for a very fun first look! Their wedding was filled with so much love and family and friends from literally all over the world, from Malaysia where Phikyin is from, to Sherman’s home town of Vancouver. The day went off without a hitch thanks to the brilliant team at DreamGroup Productions. I loved the color palette, with many shades of peach against the vibrant green of the gardens, and the whimsical garden tea theme complete with Alice in Wonderland inspired cakes that read “Eat Me.” Here are a few of their gorgeous details + vendors:
